So tell us who you are.

Hi, I'm Liana Lovings.

And where are you from?

I'm from the east coast of the U.S.

And the glasses are real?

Yes, I absolutely need them to see.

Yeah, everybody asks me about, are the glasses real? Is this an act? What is this?

Yeah, no, they're absolutely real. I had to start wearing them, I think, in probably middle school.

Yeah, and they suit you because you were a bit of a brainiac.

Thank you, yes. I am known for being quite nerdy.

In high school, I graduated early at 16.

And then I went off to college to work on getting a double major in biology and psychology with a specialization in neuroscience.

That's a mouthful.

What was it like growing up in Liana Lovings' lifetime?

I was extremely shy in high school.

A lot of people actually thought that I was going to grow up to be a nun.

Everyone said that I was asexual.

And I completely believed them.

And in senior year, I had my first semi-sexual experience where I was celebrating with my best friend,

and we stayed late at night and had some drinks.

And the next thing I knew, I woke up just snuggling her and teasing her, and she was teasing back.

And it was probably one of the craziest, most wonderful things that I'd ever experienced.

And that's what happened.

That was kind of your awakening.

Yeah, I realized, like, wow, I am definitely not as sheltered as I thought I was.

So from that really sweet story, the people at home are probably thinking, yes, that's very sweet and beautiful,

but you're hiding something also very sweet and beautiful under there.

Yeah? I think I might be.

You're making me shy now.

How long have you had those for?

You know what? I didn't really notice them for the longest time.

I actually thought, I don't know, you know when you go into a store and you see a mannequin

and they just sort of have their boobs out because they're not wearing a top?

I just thought that everyone's boobs were kind of like that.

I thought they all looked like mannequin boobs because I was just like, oh, well, mine looks like that.

So that's what everybody's looks like, right?

And that is indeed not true.

Everyone is a great different, a variation in size of areola and color and shape, and it's wonderful.

I think that it was very difficult for me to actually discover that my boobs were special, though.

I really didn't realize that there was something so special about them being symmetrical, too.

Like, people have asked me if I've had breast surgery and they are all natural.

All natural. Wow.

So you were just completely unaware and naive, but they were so perfect.

Yeah. I mean, I just thought this was just like average boobs.
